Our lovingly furnished guesthouse is located directly at the foot of the Ochsenkopf, just a few steps from the cable car station.
For sunny hours you are welcome to use our large garden with sunbathing lawn and small pool (from May to September).

The Wiesengrund is located in the district of Fröbershammer at the foot of the two highest elevations in the Fichtelgebirge, the mountains Ochsenkopf and Schneeberg, in the beautiful Weißmaintal.
The Main hiking trail, which is also part of the certified quality hiking trail “Weißmain-Ochsenkopfsteig”, is right next to the inn.
You can reach the Bischofsgrüner Naturkurpark and the center of the climatic health resort just as quickly.

Nestled between Ochsenkopf and Schneeberg, our 3-star guesthouse is surrounded by beautiful nature and is very close to many leisure activities. We are the third generation to run our small pampering board with a holiday apartment, 8 rooms, a restaurant and a large garden with pool.
The proximity to our guests is particularly important to us. We always try to realize all holiday wishes and are happy to share one or the other insider tip for a really successful leisure time activity.
All rooms and the apartment were renovated in 2022 and lovingly furnished. In the large lounge you can sit together, play, celebrate, watch TV,… In the restaurant you can expect seasonal, traditional and local dishes, cooked, prepared and served with a lot of love.
We want you to be able to rest, relax and enjoy your visit to the Wiesengrund at any time.

Change takes place once a week, a daily change of bed linen is possible. However, we then have to charge a surcharge of €10.00 per person and bed linen change.
If you wish, you can rent bicycles for your bike tour.
We have put together a selection of board games, which you will find on the first floor in the lounge.
You can get your delicious breakfast in buffet form in the restaurant.

Please vacate the room by 10.30 a.m. on the day of departure and hand in the room key at reception. If you need luggage storage after check-out, this is possible by arrangement.
You can have your evening meal in our restaurant between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. In the morning, you can choose from your evening menu at the breakfast table. If you would like to have dinner, mark your desired meal. We are also happy to cater to your wishes. If you have gluten or other intolerances or vegan food, please contact us. Please inquire as they are not allowed in all rooms.Your dogs are also very welcome as guests and can be accommodated in certain rooms for €10.00 per animal and night (without food). Our small pool in the garden with a large sunbathing area is available to our guests available for free. Cushions for the loungers are available at reception or in the storage boxes in the garden.
Please note that all rooms are non-smoking. Ashtrays are available on the balconies.
If you need new towels, please put the used towels on the bathroom floor for our cleaning staff to change them.
You have many different excursion options in our region. Brochures are available from our reception. We are also happy to advise you when planning your excursions.
A flat screen with satellite TV is available in every room, program list can be found in the room, as well as a current 4-week program.
